I am interested in the following opportunities that do not require a lot of time:

Contributing an article to the MDA's Northwest Dentistry Journal.

Serving on a Northwest Dentistry Reader Panel.

Hosting a speaker at the Star of the North Meeting.

Recruiting a non-member into membership.

Taking photos and an MDA event and sharing with MDA staff for MDA use.

Responding to MDA legislative alerts when received.

Participating in biannual MDA compensation and dental fee surveys and other surveys as requested.

Short-Term Opportunities

A little more time, but not a major commitment.

I am interested in these short-term opportunities:

Serving as an MDA mentor or providing an opportunity for a dental student to shadow me.

Organizing a fundraiser for a political candidate.

Submitting written testimony in support of various MDA-supported legislation.

Engaging with legislators on a regular basis on issues the MDA is advocating for.

Speaking at an MDA continuing education course.

Volunteering with Give Kids a Smile (February 7-8, 2025)

Attending Dental Day at the Capitol Virtual Event (February 14, 2025).

Signing up with the MDA grassroots network.

Attending a career fair at a local high school.
