During the 2021 Legislative Session, $61 million were appropriated to increase dental reimbursement rates for Minnesota’s Medicaid program. This increase of approximately 98% went into effect January 1, 2022. Additionally, funding was appropriated to reinstate coverage of nonsurgical treatment for periodontal disease for adults. The Minnesota Dental Association, in partnership with the state district dental societies and the Minnesota Department of Human Services, invites you to learn more about these changes and how they can impact you.
