MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Dr. R. David Resch was selected as the recipient of the Minnesota Dental Association (MDA) President’s Award. He was honored by over 9,000 dental professionals in attendance at the MDA’s annual convention, the Star of the North Meeting at the RiverCentre in St. Paul.
Dr. Resch earned his DDS degree in 1978 from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, after earning degrees in chemistry and psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the MDA and the Saint Paul District Dental Society, an associate member of the Chicago Dental Society, and a member of the Organization for Sterilization and Asepsis, and Prevention (OSAP). He has lectured on infection control and OSHA regulations regionally and at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Dr. Resch is also the current co-chair of the MDA Environment and Safety Committee and the Scientific Session Committee.
In his presentation of the award, MDA Past-President Dr. Michael Flynn emphasized how very involved Dr. Resch has been in community service and in volunteering in general, calling him “a great leader, a great colleague, a great volunteer, and a resource to all of us.”
